CUD (Collaboration Un-Denied) was born out of the need for artists and thinkers and scientists to make together outside the constraints of institutions and capitalism and funding bodies.
CUD sessions are diy multi-day collaborative residencies supporting practitioners to feel empowered and free engaging in what they feel is missing in their practice and the world.

individuals (selected as well as at least one other person with whom they will collaborate) or proposed projects are chosen to be supported across 1-7 days of self-directed experimentation and development in areas or processes they lack in their normal environment. sessions are hosted in different studios and locations. sessions may have a general theme or focus proposed by CUD. the focus is informed by the space. the sessions have no fixed outcome required. work produced will be facilitated to enter the world if it is desired. relations between CUD and the participants' project is open to design.

when you register you are entered onto the CUD database. this means you are considered amongst the other submitted practitioners to be paired for upcoming sessions according to your stated needs and interests. the CUD team is very small and sessions currently fairly infrequent. if you are not invited to a session you will remain on the roster and will have access to future sessions and forums and events.
